⌈Cycling⌋
This is my bicycle. I bought it second-hand in 2021 for $100 and have ridden over 500km on it ever since. Pretty soon after purchasing this bike came the heaviest pandemic restrictions in WA, including exercise only within 5km of home for an hour per day, so I was very grateful to have it at that time. It's not the fanciest, most up-to-date bike, but its a workhorse, and it's really fun to ride.
🔧 Here are some specs:
- Frame.......: Steel
- Drivetrain..: Fixed-gear/single-speed flip-flop hub
- Brakes......: Rim
- Wheels......: 700c×28"
- Weight......: 10kg
I primarily ride it in fixed-gear. I just prefer the riding experience and simplicity. I've never had anything break on it, even after pushing it through some questionable conditions.
🚲 Here are some noteable/milestone rides I've completed:
- 2021-06-23 - Rottnest Island Loop [21.55km]
- 2021-07-01 - Reabold Hill Ascent [17.42km]
- 2024-09-28 - North Mole to Hillarys Boat Harbour [43.12km]
- 2025-07-10 - Swan River Three Bridge Loop [48.35km]
