Hi, I'm Cameron
I'm 23 years old, live in Perth, Western Australia and study mathematics at the University of Western Australia. I am also a musician, currently playing bass guitar for the J-rock band Nyamaha.
About This Site
This site serves as my own personal portfolio of interests and as a hub for my pages elsewhere on the web. I made this site because I've recently been drawn to the growing small/indie web communities that have been popping up in retaliation to the highly curated and ever-bloated modern web.
This site is purposely designed in a minimalist format reminiscent of the early web, much like many other indie websites. The idea here is to keep the page free of bloat so that it loads quickly, and all information is displayed neatly. For my website I use nothing more than simple HTML, CSS and a miniscule amount of Javascript. My web dev skills are also severely lacking but we will call that a happy coincidence.
My Music
As mentioned above I play bass for Nyamaha. I've also played with indie band Tall Sea District in the past, with whom I have recorded music. This can be listened to on all major music streaming platforms. Both bands play live shows in the Perth metro area and the best way to find out when and where they are is to follow my instagram profile.
I do write and record my own music for fun sometimes but I rarely post it on the internet. That will hopefully change soon.
